Il Velez annuncia l'addio di Thiago Almada, ma l'Atlanta United frena: "Non è ancora deciso"
In passato Thiago Almada è stato uno dei principali obiettivi di Inter e Olympique Marsiglia, ma il suo avvenire sarà in MLS. O almeno così dovrebbe essere. Il trequartista argentino è finito al centro di una telenovela di mercato nelle ultime ore. Il Velez Sarsfield ha annunciato la sua cessione all'Atlanta United per 16 milioni di dollari (14 milioni di euro circa) e "l'accordo entrerà in vigore a febbraio 2022", si legge sul comunicato ufficiale. A cui ha prontamente risposto il club di MLS: "Abbiamo letto notizie su Thiago Almada. In questo momento non ci siamo impegnati ad acquisire il giocatore; possiamo confermare di avere un'opzione esclusiva per il trasferimento valida fino al 2022". Bisognerà attendere, dunque, prima di vedere il classe 2001 negli Stati Uniti.
